Welcome to your first step to wellness! Congratulations on exploring the world of counseling, whether it be for yourself or a loved one. I know that the first step can be difficult or even intimidating, but investing in yourself and your own well-being is one of the most powerful things you can do!
With every new insight gained, every bit of awareness, and every relationship you are able to connect with, you are creating a new path on your life-long journey. Life can be stressful at times, and sometimes, the way we cope with it just isn’t enough to help us feel good, and something needs to change so that we can feel less out of control and overwhelmed. Our moods, anxiety levels, relationships, and choices all depend on how well we are able to manage these stressors.
